The spatial averaging results in significant advantages over conventional point measuring.<\/p>\n<p>With its proprietary technique, this large aperture scintillometer sets a new standard in accuracy and ease of set-up. By accounting for transmission changes, the BLS is capable of measuring even in unfavourable and varying seeing conditions. The measured data are stored in a Signal Processing Unit and read by a PC either in real time or from memory.
