Scintec Flat Array Sodar
Scintec Flat Array Sodars (FAS) are advanced instruments for the
remote measurement of wind and turbulence in the lower atmosphere.
The FAS series have established new standards for acoustic wind
profilers in performance, quality and design. The FAS series consists
of three models which differ in size, operation frequency, vertical
measurement range and spatial resolution. Areas of applications
include meteorological research and monitoring, wind energy siting,
diffusion analysis at industrial plants, wind shear detection at
airports and optical propagation through turbulence.
