Balloons
Pilot balloons, sounding balloons and cold weather balloons. The
strong one-piece construction improves the probability of successful
launches during high wind conditions and the spherical shape assures
uniform, consistent rise rates and highest burst altitudes.
Parachutes
In spite of the light weight of the parachute types W&V-2 and
W&V-1, an exceptionally high tensile strength has been achieved.
They function even under extreme temperature conditions (+50..-80°).
The environmentally sound material does not absorb any moisture.
Tensile strength and opening are not impaired, even when completely
wet. The conspicuous red canopy contributes both to air safety and
to the number of radiosondes recovered. |
