Extreme Weather WindObserver
The new varient of the WindObserver sets new standards
for measuring wind speed and direction as part of wind turbine control
systems.
The classic WindObserver has been in production for 15 years and
has been redesigned to enhance its accuracy, measurement range and
performance in freezing conditions. The new varient WindObserver
has been specifically designed for wind turbine applications and
will offer a real alternative to mechanical anemometers and other
units that may provide erroneous data in poor weather conditions.
Independent tests have confirmed the performance of this product
in freezing rain, in typical operating wind speeds of wind turbines.
Cold temperature tests have been conducted down to –55°C.
